What is Wrong With Our President?

This will be a short, ranting, angry post, so skip over it if you don't want to deal with that right now.

It has been almost two weeks now since Donald Trump was sworn in as president and I feel like I'm watching a really crappy reality show.  Every morning I think to myself that it's going to be a better day for America than yesterday was.

And then I turn on the evening news and find out that just the opposite has happened.  Today's leading news stories were about how our president has insulted another ally (Australia), threatened another country with sanctions and possible military action (Iran), pushed congress to confirm yet another uniquely unqualified candidate for a cabinet position, reversed more of his predecessor's work to preserve the environment, and granted more favors to his business buddies.  Wall Street is now firmly entrenched in our political process and the Republicans running the legislative branch just go along with it rather than admit they made a mistake when they chose their presidential candidate.

Who really believes that this behavior is normal?  This man puts his ego before anything, including his country.  We will be paying the price for this shit show for a long, long time.
